Hi I’m Valentina
I did my very first tattoo in 2004 but after a while I stopped tattooing in order to develop and perfection my drawing skills.
I have a background in Illustration and graphic design. I graduated in Illustration at the Scuola internazionale Comics Rome in 2007 and at the London College of Communication in 2016 in Design for graphic communication. I published a pop up children book in 2009 with Mondadori.
I finally went back into tattooing 3 years ago and I am very happy that my art life took a long detour as all the studies I did in between in different areas of design helped me to shape the work I do now.
What I love the most about tattooing is that is an ephemeral art done by an ephemeral artist and that speaks about history, traditions and respect.
My goal is to share the knowledge of Tibetan symbols and traditions in order to raise awareness of this endangered culture. I donate and collaborate with Asia NGO ( my first design job) and Tibet Relief fund. My style is mainly oriental focusing on Japanese and Tibetan but I love to tattoo also traditional, illustrative, medieval and in general bold lines.
If you have a project you want to discuss or you see something you like from my portfolio don’t hesitate to get in touch! Looking forward to meet you!
